Order Up Some Heart Health

Posted by admin on November 17th, 2009

Studies confirm that everyone, from infants to adults, benefit from an adequate supply of DHA, nonetheless hardly any of us ever get the recommended amount from our diet.  Ordinary diets among westerners reveal a steady decline in the consumption of foods rich in DHA. Well surprise, surprise, we do not eat enough fish, such as wild salmon and mackerel. There is enough data to support that the healthiest countries are those where fish consumption makes up a large part of the diet. Several other cultures consume much more fish per capita and show notably reduced heart disease rates.

More recent research has concentrated on the necessity for adequate DHA levels during pregnancy, but particularly in the third
trimester when key brain growth takes place. The critical nutrients needed for the development and health of the fetal brain carry forward to early childhood. Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids are naturally found in breast milk and infant formulas are now fortified with omega-3 essential fatty acids.Liquid fish oil is a quick, convenient way to ensure that we get enough vital nutrients that may otherwise be lacking in our diet.  A once-daily DHA fish oil supplement in capsule form is an easy way to introduce these health benefits into our daily routine.DHA fish oil, EPA, liquid fish oil, fish oil heart, Omega 3. The critical nutrient, DHA, concentrated in liquid fish oil generally lacking in most diets.  Getting enough of this essential fatty acid in fish oil will improve heart health.
